Happy New Year! As I write this it is New Year's Eve day. I have been contemplating what to write.
They say we have 365 blank pages in which to write our story for the coming year.
I feel I am at a standstill at the moment.
In writing this post I have written and deleted so many times.
I want to be real, I want to share my struggles. Because our victories and triumphs are not void of struggles and challenging times. Some of our greatest victories come from our most challenging struggles.
The truth is, I've been struggling for a while.
My New Year is blank. I don't know what I'm going to do.
"Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice."

Return to blogging?
Hello, blogger world. It has been quite some time since I've logged on. I started blogging back in 2006 when I began my weight loss journey. I continued on until about 2010-2011. Blogging was very therapeutic for me back then, leading up to a divorce in late 2011. Life took on a different turn from that point on and I stopped blogging(only trying a few times since). I have been having an "itch" to start back up again for a while now. Maybe now is the time.
One thing I've read over the years is that "Everyone has a story." And that someone out there needs to hear it. I don't know who. And I may never know. But I feel it in my heart that I need to start sharing once again.
A dear friend recently told me that "It's time to let go of the past completely now, as it no longer serves you. Where you have been and what you have done or endured only represent a very small part of who you are - it is but a mere distant memory. Yes, it has helped to forge who you are today, but you ARE that person now, and you no longer need to hold onto your past for that person to BE...Here...Right now...as you are about to embark on the next phase of your journey. That person already IS. We don't know what this new chapter is yet, other than it is starting back home. You are the author...write your story and fill it with love and strength."
As an update these pics show how far I have come over the past 10 years since I started this journey. It hasn't been an easy journey, nor has it been a straight line. But, I press on! I continue with a Fighting Spirit.
Here's to what's next!!!
